Why I Hate Capitalism

I hate capitalism because I see it as an exploitative system that prioritizes profit over people, rewards hoarding over fairness, and creates needless suffering. I don’t just dislike capitalism in theory, I see its effects everywhere, from healthcare failures to economic inequality, and it pisses me off.

I’m trying to actively challenge it through writing, memes, protesting, and writing to various activists and politicians. And let’s be real: capitalism’s defenders annoy the hell out of me with their smug certainty that the system is “natural” or “the best we can do.” It’s not just about economics; it’s about control, injustice, and a system that refuses to let people live with dignity.

The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. And every time someone points it out, capitalists scramble to say, “Actually, poverty has decreased globally!” as if that justifies billionaires hoarding obscene wealth while workers struggle to afford rent. The system is rigged so wealth concentrates at the top, and instead of fixing it, people are told to work harder, invest smarter, or stop buying lattes.

Meanwhile, billionaires can tank entire economies, exploit workers, and dodge taxes with no consequences. The only thing that trickles down is misery. I’m right to hate it. The real question is: what’s the next move?

  1. Yesterday was apparently freedom day over there, we as most allies that have followed the USA into every war, vote and anything else asked of us since WW2 were hit with a flat 10% tariff. It pissed a lot of Australians off, to the point where now everyone is talking about boycotting all USA products and pulling out of military alliances. As it turns out the USA was in a trade surplus with us – the land of Underpantsalia and the only thing anyone here can think might have sparked it off is our flat 10% tax on Goods and services – everything gets that except – wait for it – imports we buy off the internodes – tech, Ebay and Amazon things.

In a time where everyone is struggling with inflation, stagnant wages and unfordable housing it’s another slug for the workers. Of course Trump and his henchmen are immune being loaded. This is capitalism in the early 21st century people’s lives at the whim of old rich douche bags.

I wrote a long angry blog about it but I’m finding that I have run out of words and smart arsery, you put it much better.

I really do think it’s time to break out the guillotine and rebel against these arseholes. I’m giving the finger to not only Teslas now but people in Dodge Rams and F150’s, I’m going to train Luna to bark at them – shame she’s not a boy I’d make her pee on their wheels.

    1. I just thank you for not hating me for being American. I didn’t vote for or want any of this shit. I don’t even want to be in this country anymore, but I’m poor and am on a fixed income so moving somewhere else is out of my price range for the moment. I can only hope I win the lottery then I’m out of this motherfucker. How many bedrooms you got?

      1. There are people here who hate Americans, but not many, we have a good relationship with you on a one to one. Americans get teased here but that’s about it. Mostly we feel sorry for you that about 30% of you are mental and want a dictator to ruin your home. I think US citizens should be allowed to become economic refugees and emigrate here, it’d be popular I think.
The place I’m building has 3 so bring a friend 🙂
